2013 BDAQ Regional Design Award Renovations & Extension over $600K This design is one of my proudest moments going back to 2009 while I was working as Principal Designer at Latemore Design. There was a strong connection at the time with the owners and also with the builder, confirming my approach that when a team spirit is embraced everything works well. The design is contemporary, respectful to the original building , a Queenslander, and till now, functional & modern . Great to confirm it is a good design till now. However, the best of all for me, is that the owners are very happy and satisfied. As quoted below when Peter Latemore gave them the news about the new recent award: "Congratulations to you, Yara & the team. We'd do it all over again! Hope you're keeping well.
